Bladenboro's current tax rate is 0.66¢ per $100 of total assessed valuation.
Important facts to know about your taxes:
- As of July 1st, 2024 Bladen County is billing and collecting all taxes for the Town of Bladenboro.

Your 2024 taxes will be billed out the last week of July 2024.

You may take a 2% discount on your 2024 taxes if paid (or postmarked) by August 31, 2024.

2024 taxes are due by September 1, 2024 and are payable at par until January 5, 2025.

On January 6, 2025, the 2024 taxes are considered delinquent; 2024 taxes will accrue 2% interest and are immediately subject to collection remedies including garnishment of wages, seizure of bank accounts and/or foreclosure.
- Interest is accrued every month thereafter at 0.75% until paid in full.
- 2024 delinquent taxes will be advertised during the month of March 2025 per North Carolina General Statutes.
- Installment payments are accepted on tax accounts if unable to pay in lump sum. However, to avoid collection action, taxes must be paid in full before January 5th of each year.
